In the spring, when dandelion has the most useful ingredients, in addition to other uses and recipes, you can make this syrup, which is very easy to prepare and very tasty.

There is another recipe for this syrup that is prepared by boiling, so that it lasts longer and does not spoil. I would like to mention once again that when preparing these types of recipes, if possible, I avoid heating the herbs because they lose their useful ingredients.

Instead, I freeze the syrup or cordial and take them out as needed. Sugar or honey also play a role in preservation, so heat exposure is not necessary.

This water-soluble syrup is very tasty and refreshing. If you freeze it, you can use it as a refreshing drink on hot summer days.

Apart from being delicious, it is also full of nutrients, because they are not destroyed during heating. Dandelion, as an herb, has many benefits for human health that I wrote about earlier. This syrup is used against cough, and lemon helps to supplement the recommended daily intake of vitamin C.

I used sugar in the video because I didn’t have any honey at the time. In any case, if you have honey, use it.

Here I would like to express my gratitude to feedspot.com for choosing My Folk Medicine in Top 25 Herbal Medicine Blogs & News Websites To Follow in 2020.
