Curcumin has many health benefits that I will write about in more detail later. I have experienced joint pain, more specifically knee pain, and when I drank 1 tablespoon of turmeric dissolved in water for 40 days every 6 months, the pain did not appear anymore.
This time, I heard about the interesting curcumin lemonade that may help a lot with depression. I have no personal experience with it, but I find it worth a try.
What I know so far about curcumin is that it has many benefits for human health, as it improves immunity, has anti-inflammatory properties, anti-viral properties, is rich in antioxidants, etc.
What does matter here is whether curcumin can help with mental health such as depression or Alzheimer’s. There are claims that it has properties that are more effective than fluoxetine contained in Prozac. I’m sure it’s not as addictive as standard therapy for these diseases, so I’ll try it myself.
However, do not stop using standard therapy prescribed by your doctor. If necessary, consult before using this lemonade, as there is no scientific evidence yet.
- 4 glass cold water
- 2 table spoons curcumin powder or fresh shredded root from turmeric
- 4 table spoons honey
- 1 Lemon juice
- 1 orange juice optional
- Blend them and serve with lemon.
Store the lemonade in the refrigerator if you have leftovers.
